Description

2× Hieff™ PCR Master Mix (No Dye) is a ready-to-use premixed solution designed for conventional polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The 2× formulation contains Hieff™ Taq DNA Polymerase (Cat. No. 10101), dNTP mix, MgCl₂, and an optimized buffer.

This formulation does not contain bromophenol blue tracking dye. For PCR amplification, the user adds the primers and DNA template to the master mix according to the recommended protocol.

Unlike a PCR master mix containing tracking dye, the PCR products generated with this no-dye formulation are not intended for direct loading onto an electrophoresis gel without adding an appropriate loading buffer or dye.
